S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai is one of India's premier private business schools, established in 1981. SPJIMR holds the prestigious Triple Crown accreditation (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) - achieved by only the top 1% of business schools globally. The institute offers PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management), NOT MBA, as it is an autonomous institution and not a university. Admission to the flagship PGDM is through CAT/GMAT scores with SPJIMR's own multi-stage selection process.

PGDM (Business Management)

The flagship 2-year full-time residential PGDM programme admits ~120 students through CAT or GMAT scores. SPJIMR's selection process goes beyond exam scores - it includes essays, interviews, and group exercises, making the admission profile-driven. CAT cutoff is ~85 percentile but actual admission is heavily profile-based. SPJIMR does NOT accept XAT for the flagship PGDM.

PGPM & Doctoral Programme

PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management) is a 1-year full-time programme for experienced professionals (5+ years) admitted through CAT/GMAT/XAT. The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a 4-year fully funded doctoral programme with ₹40,000/month stipend, admitted through CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC NET.

Fee Structure & Scholarships

PGDM fee includes tuition and basic hostel. Triple Crown accreditation ensures global recognition equivalent to MBA from accredited universities. Education loan partnerships with all major banks.

Eligibility & Admission Process

SPJIMR does NOT accept XAT for flagship PGDM (only CAT and GMAT). Profile-based selection: CAT ~85 percentile cutoff but strong work experience, academics, and extracurriculars are weighted heavily. ~120 seats for PGDM.
