AIIMS New Delhi MBBS 2026 Cutoff Released; General Category Opens at NEET Rank 1

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has published the official NEET-UG 2026 cutoff ranks for admission to its 100-seat MBBS programme. As in previous years, the General category closing rank for AIIMS New Delhi stood at All India Rank 1, underscoring the institution's unrivalled status among medical aspirants across the country. The OBC-NCL closing rank was reported at AIR 12, while SC and ST categories closed at AIR 148 and AIR 389 respectively.

AIIMS New Delhi Launches Advanced Centre for Genomic Medicine and Precision Oncology

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Centre for Genomic Medicine and Precision Oncology on its 100-acre campus, marking a significant leap in translational research capabilities. The centre, equipped with next-generation sequencing platforms and bioinformatics infrastructure, will support both clinical diagnostics and research in rare genetic disorders and cancer therapeutics.The facility is a joint initiative between AIIMS New Delhi's departments of Genetics, Medical Oncology, and Biochemistry, with funding support from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
