Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) is a private state university established in 2011 under Act No. 21 of 2011 of the Rajasthan State Legislature. Part of the 71-year Manipal education legacy, the university occupies a sprawling campus of roughly 122 acres at Dehmi Kalan, about 30 km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway. With over 11,000 students and around 485 faculty members, MUJ has grown rapidly into one of North India's most recognised private multidisciplinary universities, offering close to 113 programmes across 27 degree categories spanning engineering, management, law, architecture, design, sciences, commerce, humanities and pharmacy.

The university is accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the Council of Architecture (COA).
