NUJS Kolkata Retains NAAC A+ Grade, Ranked Among Top 3 NLUs in NIRF Law 2026

West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences has retained its NAAC A+ accreditation following a peer-team assessment conducted in late 2025, reaffirming its standing as one of India's premier legal education institutions. NUJS Kolkata Launches LLM Programme in Technology, AI & Law from Academic Year 2026–27

West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences has announced the introduction of a specialised one-year LLM programme in Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Law, set to commence in the academic year 2026–27. The programme has received Bar Council of India approval and is designed to address the growing demand for legal professionals equipped to navigate issues around data privacy, algorithmic accountability, and digital commerce regulation.The curriculum will include modules on cyber law, intellectual property in the digital economy, fintech regulation, and AI governance frameworks, with contributions from faculty at IIT Kharagpur and visiting practitioners from the technology sector.
