DU Undergraduate Admission 2026: CSAS Portal Opens, First Cutoff List Expected in June
The University of Delhi has formally opened its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic year, the university registrar confirmed in April 2026. Eligible candidates who have appeared in CUET-UG 2026 can register and submit their programme-college preferences through the portal beginning this month.This year, over 70,000 seats are available across 77 affiliated colleges in more than 60 undergraduate programmes.

DU Launches Four New Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programmes for 2026-27 Academic Year
The University of Delhi's Academic Council has approved four new postgraduate programmes to be introduced from the 2026-27 academic session, targeting emerging fields in data science, climate studies, digital humanities, and public health policy. The announcement was made following a meeting of the Standing Committee on Academic Affairs held in February 2026.The programmes have been designed in collaboration with industry partners and leading research institutions, incorporating a blend of theoretical coursework and applied project work.

The University of Delhi has successfully retained its National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) A++ accreditation following a comprehensive peer team visit conducted in November 2025. The university received a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.71 out of 4.
