NMIMS (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies) University Mumbai is a NAAC A++ accredited deemed university offering programmes across management, engineering, law, pharmacy, science, and commerce through its constituent schools. Established in 1981, NMIMS is best known for its MBA programme at the School of Business Management (SBM), consistently ranked among India's top 15 B-schools. NMIMS uses distinct entrance exams for different programmes: NMAT for MBA, NPAT for UG, NMIMS-CET for B.Tech, and LAT for law.
Management Programmes
The flagship MBA at SBM is admitted exclusively through NMAT (by GMAC) - CAT/XAT scores are not accepted for NMIMS MBA. The programme offers specialisations in Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, and Strategy. NMIMS also offers BBA through NPAT at the undergraduate level.
Engineering & Technology
Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (MPSTME) offers B.Tech in CSE, AI & ML, and Data Science, admitted through NMIMS-CET. M.Tech programmes admit via GATE or NMIMS-CET.
Law Programmes
Kirit P. Mehta School of Law offers BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) - 5-year integrated programmes admitted through LAT (Law Admission Test). LLM is also available.

NMAT is conducted by GMAC (same body as GMAT). CAT/XAT are NOT accepted for NMIMS MBA. NPAT, NMIMS-CET, and LAT are university-specific exams. Applications open January-March.
