National Law University Jodhpur

National Law University Jodhpur (NLU Jodhpur), established in 1999, is among India's top-ranked National Law Universities. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in law and management, with admission through CLAT and other entrance exams.

Undergraduate Programmes

NLU Jodhpur offers two 5-year integrated law programmes through CLAT UG:

• B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - 130 seats
• B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) - 66 seats, combining business administration with legal studies

Total UG intake is 196 seats. Both programmes follow the same fee structure.

Postgraduate Programmes

The 1-year LL.M. programme admits 88 students (including 8 EWS supernumerary) through CLAT PG. Four specializations are offered: Corporate Laws (35 seats), Intellectual Property Rights Laws (15 seats), International Trade Laws, and Public Laws. A specialization requires minimum 10 students to be conducted.

NLU Jodhpur also offers a 2-year MBA in Insurance & Risk Management through the School of Insurance Studies, admitted via CAT/MAT/CMAT scores followed by GD and PI.

Doctoral Programme

The Ph.D. is offered in Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management, and interdisciplinary domains. Admission is through NLU Jodhpur's own National Level Entrance Test (research methodology + subject-specific) followed by research proposal evaluation and interview.

Fee Structure & Scholarships

NRI seats available for BA LL.B. and BBA LL.B. at 12 Lakh/year. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates receive reservation and fee concessions as per government policy.

Eligibility & Admission Process

CLAT is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs, typically in December. MBA admissions are conducted separately through the School of Insurance Studies.
